The Vibram Hong Kong 100, which is held in January each year, has been cancelled.
In a normal year more than half of the runners come from outside Hong Kong.
This is a call to everyone to continue to train / run / hike / connect wherever you are in the world.
About Vibram Hong Kong 100
Vibram Hong Kong 100 is Asia’s most popular trail race. It crosses beautiful beaches, hills and forests before providing panoramic views of the world’s most photogenic city and summiting its highest peak (Tai Mo Shan at 957m). It has been bringing joy to trail runners from all over the world since 2011.
This is not an official competition or trial, it is an individual activity. Consequently, all registrants participate under their own responsibility.
Each registrant acknowledges that he is responsible for himself and members of his support crew.
Running / hiking requires good training and all registrants declare that they are healthy and fit enough to do so.
Each runner expressly agree to release the organization from any and all liability in connection with the activities and agrees that in no event shall the organization be liable to you or any third party for any direct, indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising out of or in any way connected with the activity.
We recommend that each runner and support crew have personal accident cover. Enjoy the training, stay safe and healthy and have fun!
The ranking is calculated on the overall timing on the basis of the GPX tracks provided between the first run (start) and the last run (finish). Thus, runners who choose to complete the Virtual Race in one single run will be ahead of those who have completed the it in several runs. In the event of a tie, the activity time (= time in motion) will be taken into consideration.
